1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using WisdomScroll ("the App"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
2. License to Use
WisdomScroll grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not include the right to:
• Modify, copy, or distribute the App • Reverse engineer or decompile the App • Remove any copyright or proprietary notices • Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
3. User Content and Books
You are solely responsible for the books and content you import into the App. You must own the rights or have proper authorization to use any content you add to WisdomScroll.
We do not claim ownership of your books or content. All imported content remains your property and is stored locally on your device.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
WisdomScroll Premium is available through subscription:
• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually • Payment is charged to your App Store account • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled 24 hours before the period ends • Refunds are handled according to Apple policies • You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device settings
5. Free Trial
New users may be eligible for a free trial period. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged for the subscription. You can cancel anytime during the trial without being charged.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
• Use the App for any illegal purpose • Violate any copyright or intellectual property laws • Attempt to hack, damage, or disrupt the App • Share your subscription with others • Use automated systems to access the App
7. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, features, and functionality, is owned by WisdomScroll and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
8. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements.
We are not responsible for any loss of data, including books or bookmarks, though we make reasonable efforts to prevent such losses.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WisdomScroll shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the App.
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We will notify you of significant changes through the App.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts.
